Information We Collect

Text you generate. Every tool on this site converts text with JavaScript that runs on your device. The words you type are not transmitted to our servers, stored or logged by us.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider processes basic technical data to deliver pages securely: IP address, browser and device type, the URL requested, the referring page and a timestamp. These logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the message and your email address for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This site does not set cookies of its own for the generator to work; the cookies you will find here are set by the third-party services below. Each of them may use cookies, local storage, pixels or similar identifiers.

Chrome Extension

The Cursive Text Generator Chrome extension converts the text you type inside its toolbar popup, on your device. It does not collect, store, transmit or sell that text or any other personal information, and it does not access your browsing history, page content, accounts or files. Copying happens only when you press a copy button, and clipboard content never leaves your computer.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to keep the site online and secure, to understand which tools and articles are useful, to fix display problems on particular devices, to show and measure advertising that funds the site, and to answer messages you send us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers named on this page (Google, Microsoft and our hosting provider), each of which processes it under its own privacy policy, and when we are required to do so by law.

Data Retention

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months in identifiable form. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to handle your request.

Your Rights and Choices

This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
