One trick per username. frostmax is cool; xX_frostmaxx_69_Xx is 2009. If the plain version is taken, add a period first, a number second, and a symbol only where the platform supports it.

How Our Cool Username Generator Works
There is no AI behind this page and no database of taken names. Cool usernames are assembled in your browser from five ingredients:
- Your word. The name or word you type is cleaned to letters and numbers and kept whole in every result. Leave it blank and the generator picks a noun from the style instead.
- Cool vocabulary. Each of the eight styles has its own hand-written list — riot, venom and havoc for edgy; onyx, chrome and apex for sleek; wolf, viper and titan for badass — so a sleek result never borrows a badass word by accident.
- Naming patterns. Adjective + name, name + noun, prefix + name, two cool words, dropped-vowel respellings, and short numeric or word suffixes like zero and one. Patterns rotate within a batch so you never get 24 versions of the same idea.
- Separators and numbers. Periods, underscores, numbers like 777 or 13, and birth-year-style digits. On the default Mix setting only some results get them.
- Symbols. Stars, lightning, skulls and diamonds from the style's own set, placed before, after or around the word — only when you keep symbols on.
Results and favorites never leave your device, and because nothing here talks to Instagram, Discord, Xbox or Steam, the generator cannot tell you whether a name is free — always check on the platform itself.
What Makes a Username Cool?
Cool usernames have less in them, not more. They use hard, short words — frost, onyx, blade, void, nova — with strong consonants and one or two syllables. They avoid filler: no xX, no _69_, no 123 unless the number means something. They pick one texture — cold, dark, metallic, cosmic — and stay in it, which is why silentonyx works and silentbunny does not. And they read the same out loud as on screen, so a friend can find you after hearing the name once.
